Describing a Moment
Version 1 · Last updated 7 October 2026
One sheet gives every photo in a Moment the same story, tags and place. Photos you have written on by hand are left alone.
Describe the Moment
Open the Gallery, pick a Moment, and tap the tag icon beside the date. Type or dictate the Story, add Tags (suggestions come from nearby Moments), and set a Place (type a few letters, or Pick from Places…). Then tap Next: Livo writes them onto every photo in the Moment and moves to the next Moment that has no story yet. Previous goes back; Done saves and closes.
Livo fills in blanks and replaces only what the sheet itself wrote before. A photo whose story or place you changed by hand keeps it — the saved line tells you how many “kept their own story”. Overwrite all (the orange switch) is the exception: it asks first, then replaces the story, the whole tag list and the place on every photo. Undo takes the last save back exactly.
Double-tap a photo in the strip to see it full screen while you write.
One photo at a time
Open a photo full screen and tap the tag icon at the top to show the Details strip: People · Places · Tags · Story. Tap a chip to add or remove; type or say names in the box, with Add and Replace; Same as previous copies the people from the photo before. Every change saves at once, with one Undo. Livo never creates a person or place from a mistyped word: a name it does not know becomes a dashed chip that asks you.
After you add a person or place, Also in this Moment? offers the other photos of the Moment that lack it, so one tap covers them all.
The tagging screen
Select several photos and tap Tag in the bottom bar to add or remove people, places and tags on all of them at once. Nothing is written until you tap Apply.
